College Advising

The system that puts your student in the driver’s seat.

Going beyond merely selecting and applying to schools with students, the entire college advising process includes planning college visits, helping select extracurricular and summer activities, financial aid guidance, academic course selection and so much more! The goal is finish high school as a well-rounded applicant with personal passions and specialized skills. Having worked with students in various academic bands, and special interests makes working with Alexas a valuable investment while navigating the increasingly competitive college admissions landscape

  • Students get one-on-one meetings to plan their next steps toward a degree or certificate. Meetings are set based on the student’s availability. These sessions work best for students who need clarity about their path and want a schedule with unique, clear deadlines.

  • Group sessions are comprised of 5-8 students who either 1) attend the same school, 2) have similar academic credentials or 3) in the same organizations. These sessions are interactive similar to a small classroom setting and will never exceed 8 students.

Students in group sessions still receive individual sessions to specify the student’s unique postsecondary journey.

  • Coaching Bootcamps combine expert guidance with hands-on practice, requiring participants to actively complete tasks and real-time exercises. Bootcamps are designed to bridge close the gap towards execution. Bootcamps ensure you leave with immediate results, actionable plans, and practical, applied skills.

Bootcamps normally hold 30 students and exceed no more than 7 hours per day.

The support I received was exceptional. Anytime I needed help or finding ways to connect with people for academic opportunities, I knew that [Alexas] would be a resource I had.
